On the 8th November 2022 was a lunar eclipse which I observed and photographed from the city of Perth, from the Matilda Bay foreshore. I was located at Matilda Bay to participate in a larger Perth Observatory public viewing event and livestream.
The event was well attended by hundreds of people in Perth. with everyone seeming to have a great time in the relaxed setting by the bay. It was amazing to have some dolphins swim up very close (a few meters) to the shore too!
