Use By Amateur Astronomers
The results from my Project NGC (images and PDF books) may be used by individual amateur astronomers for their own personal use. Individuals may have any number of copies of the data as they wish for their own personal use. Individuals are not permitted to re-print or distribute the Project NGC data for the purpose of making a profit.
Use In Publications
For use in publications, be it amateur or professional, permission must be saught from Roger Groom. Please contact me. If you wish to use the data in amateur resources such as astronomy club newsletters then there is a good chance I will allow free use, providing credit is given. Each circumstance will be considered in its own right.
Publications of a professional nature or where profit is to be made from the publication must request permission for uage and usually credit must be given together with a small fee for using the data.
