For both astrophotography and landscape photogrpahy I have taken many trips to the wheatbelt. I enjoy the open space, quiet and natural beauty of this region. Throughout the year the changes in the colour of the landscape are amazing and always adding something new to the photography opportunities.
You can buy prints of these landscape photographs, and request copyright permission to utilise them in publications. Please send an equiry or intent to purchase to me. Rolled prints are avilable from AU$10, framed prints from AU$45. All prints are fine art, archival, photographic prints.

Kokerbin Rock - Afternoon Sunlight
Golden afternoon sunlight on the farmland surrounding Kokerbin Rock in Western Australia (wheatbelt region). I like this shot for showing the typical afternoon look of the wheatbelt at this time of year. The rows of trees lining the roads and wheat/sheep fields between.
Wheatbelt Wandoo Forrest
Wandoo forrests change their bark colour dramatically throughout the year. This image shows the rich orange colour they can turn.

Some twisted wandoo tress and an old stump.
Dryandra 2007 - 4788
Wandoo Bushland in Dryandra
Dryandra 2007 - 4810
Dryandra, Western Australia. The Wandoo bushland meets the edge of a farm padock with the afternoon light streeming through the forrest.
Kokerbin Rock (lower area landscape)
The rough textures of the rock at Kokerbin Rock meet the smooth blue sky. This photograph was taken after the thick fog had cleared from the night before, and heavy dew dried.
Kokerbin Rock in Mist (top of rock)
This photograph is taken from about half way up Kokerbin Rock, where the lookout carpark is, on a misty morning. The mist was blowing past at quite a reasonable pace.
