Veil Nebula

This is my first attempt at photographing the Veil Nebula, often too low on the north horizon for it to be even considered a photograpic or visual target.

This image does have issues such as the distortion which is most noticeable on the bottom right and that the data was relatvely faint so the image is heavily processed to bring out the nebulosity. But considering this was taken through an un-modified DSLR at 800ISO I am quite happy with the result. The image was un-guided.
