Merritsts Creek at Thredbo, with Waterfall

Description:  A vibrant photograph of the Merritts Creek waterfall and creek near Thredbo in the Snowy Mountains, during Summer.

In the distance is a waterfall created by a man-made dam wall. The water flows from the fall over and around green mossy rocks, gently illuminated by the partly cloudy conditions of the day and tree canopy overhead.

I particularly like the tree trunk on the right in this photograph, and the smooth flowing blue water which looks so cold.
