Pleiades Occulted by The Moon

On the 15th January 2011 the open cluster of Pleiades was occulted by The Moon, as seen from Western Australia.
This photograph is a composite of many. To record the stars, the exposure time needed to be 1 second. To record the detail on the moon it needed to be 1/640th second. The two sets of each exposure time were combined to form the image shown.
