Karri Forest Track

Description:  A panorama of an overgrown track in the Warren River National Park. The dissused track is being quite quickly overgrown by undergrowth. The tall Karri trees tower overhead.

This is a section of track near the Bicentenial Tree in the Warren River National Park. It's an area we always visit when at Pemberton, it has something of most of what the area holds for photography (Orchis, Fungus, Birds, forest track, big Karri trees, etc).

This image is a panoramic of several photographs. I was actually quite close to the foreground Karri trees, standing in the low Karri Hazel which is growing back up in the disused track. I particularly like the green of the wet foliage contrast to the orange and browns of the Karri tree trunks. The low banks of the path are lined with fungus which I spent time photographing individually.
