M6 (Messier 6 - Open Cluster)

Click image above to view full size
This is a photograph of M6. It's of very average quality, but was satisfying to capture due to the ease of short 30 second exposures.

The quality of this image is less than average due to a few reasons:

  • Warm ambient temperature
  • 30 second exposure times (short)
  • 1600ISO (to capture as much as I could in short 30 second exposures)
  • Taken through my Megrez 80 SD which has significant false colour around bright stars
Camera:Canon 350D
Lens/Telescope:Megrez 80 SD
Focal Length:480mm
Aperture:80mm
Exposure Time:22 x 30 seconds
Date:28th August 2008
