A wide field photograph of the Sombrero Galaxy (M 104) taken with my new Megrez 90 APO.

Taken on the first night I had with my Megrez 90 under dark skies. I spent a lot of the night messing with the Field Flattener attempting to achieve acceptable results. In the end I decided to just ignore that, use it as it was, and attempt to get some photos to show for the night.

The camera was very slightly out of focus for this image, which is a shame, but as I said I wanted something to show for the night so didn't fuss with it anymore and just took the shots.

5 dark frames were used (not ICNR), processing done in CCDSoft and PhotoShop. Capture in Nebulosity 2. The capture in Nebulosity 2 made processing the images more combersom than desirable because it saves the images as three seperate Red, Green and Blue files.

I'm quite happy with the end result considering all.
