Kokerbin - May 2008

Photography from a camping/astronomy trip to Kokerbin Rock (Kokerbin Nature Reserve) in Western Australia (wheatbelt region) in May 2008.
We arrived mid-late afternoon on Saturday and departed shortly before midday on Sunday 4th May. The night was crisp and clear, not too cold, but we awoke to heavy fog and dew. I was very pleased with the astro photography acquired on this trip. Only a few shots, but a few good ones. The Milky Way rising in the east behind the nearby trees (specifically framed to contain the trees) and The Emu. The late afternoon and morning were great for general landscape photography. We were lucky enough to have the camp site completely to ourseleves, although there were others camped at various other spots around the rock.
