This is an image of a Hooded Plover taking off from rock in the ocean near Hopetoun.

Taken in the late afternoon not far from Hopetoun on te south cost of Western Australia. The Hooded Plover and it's friend were sitting on a rock until a threatenning wave aproached. I managed to snap one of them as it was taking off.
