ASWA Astro Camp - October 2011

Photographs from the ASWA Astro Camp - October 2011

The October 2011 Astro Camp down at Dryandra was on the three day long weekend of October 28, 29 and 30th. I was also there for Thursday 27th. The long break was great for enjoying the open quite landscape of Dryandra and fitting in a little astrophotography on the clear nights.

I took only the AstroTrac and camera gear, no telescope. I had fun photographing a wide range of targets using the AstroTrac, including the Milky Way setting with the crescent Moon, Orion, Jupiter with surrounding constellations, Large Magellanic Cloud, Pleiades with surrounding star fields, and more.
