Saturn
Saturn, one of the better images I have of it. The atmospherics of the night weren't so bad until a strong wind kicked up later. For this image it was quite good. Taken from 1980 frames total.

Saturn (Video Camera)
Saturn, taken with a CCD video camera (security camera type). 142 frames stacked from footage shot on a cloudy night. This image shows different processing to the other, illustrating what different affects can be made simply by processing technique.

Saturn (Video Camera)
Saturn taken with a security style video camera (colour). Good frames then selected and stacked to form the image here. 142 frames were used. Some cloud cover was present, resulting in less than ideal conditions.

Saturn (A-Focal)
Saturn taken a-focal with a hand held digital camera pointed at the eyepiece. It's amazing what you can get with such a simple and cheap technique.

Saturn (4.5" Newtonian with Flim)
This is an old image, taken with my first telescope (4.5" newtonian reflector) and using film via eyepiece projection. That's a very tricky setup to get a reasonable image, and these days far surpassed by webcam imaging.

Planets at Sunset (25th July 2010)
The planets of Mercury, Venus, Mars and Saturn, together in a line with the bright star Regulus, a short time after sunset. This was quite an eye catching alignment of planets.
