This is an image of my portable setup until I purchased a Losmandy GM-8 in June 2005. This image shows the EQ2 mount from my York SkyRover 4.5" newtonian, with my William Optics Megrez 80 and Pentax SP1000 mounted on the back.
This is exactly how I took many (if not most) of the colour film astro photographs on this web site. Not expensive and not complex, the mount only had RA motor and was imple to use.
