Pier hole (and rock)

Unfortunately there happenned to be a large rock exactly the size of my 1m x 1m hole right where I wanted to sink my telescope pier.

Because the bottom half of the pier was already built I decided to chip the rock away rather than re-design the pier to bolt in to the rock.

I could have hired a jack hammer or the like, but instead I spent 2 weeks tapping away at it with chissel, drill, sledge hammer and crow bar.
