A quick snap of the Jewel Box, a small cluster of stars near the Southern Cross that to the eye look quite colourful. Due to a less than optimal exposure time, the colour of the stars is not preserved particularly well in this image.
Camera:Canon EOS 350D (un-modified)
Lens/Telescope:12" Meade LX200 @ F/6.3
