Leaves and Nuts in the Jarrah Forest

This is a macro photograph showing leaves and nuts, wet by heavy winter rains, glistenning on the floor of a Jarrah Forest. During winter the Jarrah Forests of Western Australia are a fantastic location to do macro photograph, revealing all sorts of interesting subjects such as this.

When selling my prints at a local market this was one of the ongoing favorite photographs. I think for it's simplicity, and that "warm winter feel" that it gives. The memories of quiet and peaceful places with the sound of water droplets falling.

This is a web site of photography and astronomy, by Roger Groom in Western Australia. Photographic subjects include Pemberton, Dryandra Woodland Karri Forest, Cape Leeuwin, Ocean Landscapes, Kings Park, El Questro and Emma Gorge, and much more landscape photography.
Astrophotography subjects include The Milky Way, Large Magellanic Cloud, Small Magellanic Cloud, Orion Nebula, Saucepan Constellation, Southern Cross, Southern Cross and Pointers, Startrails, and much more astrophotography.
