Mars near opposition in 2003Most of my Mars imaging has been done using the 12" LX200 with a 2x barlow. This produced a focal length of 6096mm. You require very good viewing conditions to get a clear image at this focal length but I did find it the best combination, and better than F/10 and 3048mm.
