The Mardo is a small marsupial mouse like creature. I was lucky enough to photograph one at Dryandra, Western Australia.
Mardo are not commonly seen and yet this fellow was kind enough to do a nice arc around our vehicle allowing several photo opportunities.
Scurrying quickly from log to log and bush to bush Mardo are a fast moving target, stopping only to scratch while I was watching this one.
