The Large Magellanic Cloud, my first attempt with a digital SLR camera. I'm not happy with the red response in this image, the Tarantula Nebula (NGC 2070) is coming out blue! Yet to figure out the finer details of using the DSLR.

I also expected a little more visible information in the digital shot, considering what is visible in flim images I have taken in the past (see links at the bottom of this page).
Camera:Canon EOS 350D
Lens/Telescope:70 - 200 F4 L
Aperture:F4
Date:25th March 2006
