This is IC2994, the Running Chicken nebula. I don't know about you, but I don't see the chicken??
This is IC2994, the Running Chicken nebula. I don't know about you, but I don't see the chicken?? This image is not particularly great, but at least I realise it's faults to fix them in the future: - Slight guiding and focus problems resulted in lower than usual image quality - Colour is off, it should be red. The colour shown is typical for un-modified DSLR shots of nebulas and can be corrected for if you know how with the right version of photoshop. I haven't worked out how to do this accurately yet, with my version 5.05 of photoshop. - More exposure time is required for this object. It is quite faint in the un-modified DSLR and so 300s exposures is the minimum I'd recommend.
