Galaxy - Virgo cluster

Not the usual Virgo cluster of galaxies, this is a selection of faint (down to Mag 19.5) galaxies. There are 13 in the image.

The image is one of my continuing attempts to reach fainter limits with my setup. Next stop: 20 minute exposures.

This image was also the first I have taken with my setup automated. I started it going and left it while I slept to take 15 exposures, then 5 dark frames, then 5 bias frames, park the mount, etc. Very happy with the results considering I spe

This image was also the first I have taken with my setup automated. I started it going and left it while I slept to take 15 exposures, then 5 dark frames, then 5 bias frames, park the mount, etc. Very happy with the results considering I spent 30 mins of my time taking the images.

Shown in the image: PGC 993390, PGC 96824, PGC 96819, PGC 96828, PGC 96830, PGC 96829, PGC 96826, PGC 96822, PGC 992388, PGC 992416, PGC 992360, PGC 96814, PGC 96814.

Of particular interest to me is PGC 993390 which shows nice spiral structure especially when the image is brightened to the extreme, PGC 96819 which appears twisted and on it's side (almost looks like it's lensed by some other object and henced distorted), and PGC 96824 being the faintest object in the FOV.

It's a little disapointing that the cluster down the bottom left is largely obsucred by bright stars, making it hard to enhance and show those galaxies.
