The constellation of Orion is also known to southern hemisphere observers as The Saucepan. This is because of it's "up side down" orientation in the southern hemisphere.

This image shows Orion with the brightest star in the sky, Sirius, to the right of the field of view.

It's the colour of this image which is spectacular - nice crisp star colour and soft red/pink nebulosity throughout the image.
