The ASWA Astro Camp of March 2007 was a great success with a good setup of about 30 scopes and about 40 people. As you can see in the photo's below the field was quite well covered with vehicles and telescopes.
The range of telescopes was quite varying, including: 8" SCT's, newtonians of various sizes between 6" and 17.5", refractors up to 7" and a matching huge array of accessories and skilled operators.
I had my usual setup of the Losmandy GM8 with Megrez 80, guidescope and cameras. I was successful on both nights of acquiring some images using the DSLR, and even shot several piggyback film widefield images which are yet to be developed.
The days were mild to warm, hovering around the low 30's. Unfortunately Dryandra appeared quite dry and dead this time, after what must have been a dry summer. The field was down to just sand in many parts.
Below are some photographs of Dryandra, the camp (scope setup) and astronomy objects.
