Milky Way Rising

Click image above to view full size
This is a photograph showing the Milky Way (our galaxy) - section including scorpius, rising above the eastern horizon.
I'm very pleased with this image: Crisp stars across the field, good amount of exposure time, perfect tracking, and only slight edge distortion due to lensing. The photograph will be good for prints up to 60cm wide I hope. The trees were placedback on the image after the 10 images were stacked, in their correct location to match the first exposure taken. I specifically framed the shot to include the trees as I like showing the Milky Way togethr with foreground/horizon objects.
